C.N.A - Part Time
Requirements (but not limited to): Provides patient care consistent with individual care plans and department policies and procedures. Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients. Performs lifts and transfers OF patients, manually and mechanically. Assures patient rooms are clean and organized. Receives shift report regarding status of patients and other topics. Communicates and coordinates all patient care and needs to nurses and other CNA’s. Assists patients with meals. Respects patients’ rights and privacy and reports any suspected abuse to supervisor as required by policy. Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting required, push and/or pull 30+ pounds of force required to move equipment and to transport patients. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel. Must have the ability to use hands, reach with hands and arms. Must be able to communicate with patients, family members, and others. Must have the ability to handle and use fine and small equipment, and have the ability to operate required equipment such as computers, copy, fax, printer, scanner, and mechanical lifts. Regulatory Requirements: High School Graduate required, Current CNA Certificate in good standing, Current CPR Certificate a plus, previous work experience a plus.
