Nevada RESEP Project

William Bee Ririe Rural Health Clinic continues to coordinate with the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) partnering with the Area Health Education Center of Southern Nevada to conduct medical screenings.  The Nevada Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Project (RESEP) is a federally funded project aimed at identifying, education, and screening individuals who were exposed to radiation as a result of atmosphericnuclear testing at the Nevada Test Site and to uranium mining industry workers.  This project is geared to locate individuals who either worked at the Nevada Test Site or lived in a community located downwind from the NTAS during atmospheric nuclear testing from 1951 to July 1962.  For more information or to schedule a medical screening please contact: The University of Nevada-School of Medicine, Department of Family Community Medicine or call (702) 992-6887 or contact by e-mail: nevadaresep@unr.edu.

RESEP has arranged with the Rural Health Clinic for  radiation screenings.  For  further information call (702) 992-6887.
