Urology is the branch of medicine and physiology concerned with the function and disorders of the urinary system. Urology deals with diseases of the male and female urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra). It also deals with the male reproductive organs.
At the William Bee Ririe Clinic we also have Dr. Erickson, an urogynecologist. Dr. Ty Erickson is dual board certified in OB/Gyn and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. As a specialist in female pelvic medicine he treats the following types of concerns women may develop:
- Stress urinary incontinence using the latest medication and surgical procedures
- Urgency and urge incontinence including bladder neuromodulation and Botox
- Bladder and uterine prolapse
- Pelvic pain with or without intimacy
- Minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery
- Recurrent urinary tract and pelvic infections
- Fecal incontinence
- Hysterectomy for pain, fibroids, prolapse
- Menopause management with the latest medical therapy
- Painful bladder syndrome or interstitial cystitis

How can I get my Medical Records?
Provide us with your email address when you check in at Admitting and you can access your records through the Patient Portal. Or you can email a request to set up the Patient Portal to: patientportal@wbrhely.org .Call our Medical Records staff at (775) 289-3612 Ext. 108 and they will prepare them for you. Then you can pick them up at the Hospital during normal business hours.
